Evolution of twitter use in gynecology – a quantitative analysis post society of gynecological surgeons ontology list publication

In 5/2019, the Society of Gynecological Surgeons (SGS) published a list ontologies, or hashtag terms, for purpose organizing medical social media posts into themes and facilitate communication among Gynecology community. We aimed to determine impact this on twitter engagement by measuring # unique tweets in each category over three months surrounding SGS Annual Meeting (February April) before (2021) after (2022) was published.
